Standing at 108-metre (354 ft) tall, the Guan Yin of the South Sea of Sanya is taller than the Statue Of Liberty, and was built in 1999, completed in 2005. Here is a video commemorating the completion and opening ceremony for Guan Yin of the South Sea of Sanya. Apparently, the people of Hainan live longer than those on the mainland. According to Wikipedia, at the end of 2017, there were over 1500 centenarians in Hainan.
